About NerdBible
NerdBible is an independent comparison service that helps people choose the right products and services with confidence. From antivirus and VPNs to CRMs, payroll and website builders, we research and score each option so you can decide in minutes rather than hours. Details of the company that publishes NerdBible are on our legal notice.
What we do
We start from primary sources: the vendor's own plans, features, policies and help pages, independent lab results and audits where they exist, and official notices from regulators. We do not test products ourselves: we work from the providers' own pages and plans, independent lab results and audits, what other reviewers found and regulators' notices. We bring that together into a single, easy-to-read score for every product, using the methodology we publish on How We Rate, and every article lists the sources it relies on.
Prices, offers and features change constantly, so we re-check our comparisons against the vendors' own pages and show a "last updated" date on every page. Prices come from the vendor's pricing page, and we never invent a discount. Product cards highlight each product's strengths; the trade-offs and limitations are covered in our buyer's guides, methodology and full reviews, because a comparison that hides the downsides is not much use to anyone.
Alongside our comparisons we publish full reviews, evergreen buying guides, news on changes that affect buyers, and clearly labelled opinion pieces from our editors.
How we stay independent
NerdBible is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site we may earn a commission, but this never influences our editorial scores or rankings. We only feature products we believe are worth your consideration, and we publish our methodology openly so you can see how we reach our conclusions. Our advertiser disclosure explains exactly how we make money.
Our team
Each topic is covered by an editorial desk, and every piece carries the byline of the desk responsible for it, as our editorial policy explains. Research and drafting are done with the help of AI tools, and every article is checked against its sources before it is published. We do not give medical, legal, tax or financial advice; where a topic touches health or money, we report what official bodies say and suggest speaking to a qualified professional. Every page shows when it was last updated, and our editorial policy sets out the standards we work to.
