Can a website find my exact address from my IP?
Not from the IP alone. It points to your provider and usually your city or region. Your provider knows which customer had the address at a given time.
What is browser fingerprinting?
Combining many small details a browser shares, such as screen size, time zone, fonts and graphics card, into an identifier that can recognise you without cookies.
How do I hide my IP address?
A VPN or Tor routes your traffic through another server, so sites see that server address instead of yours. It does not hide the browser details listed on this page.
