About this emoji
๐ณ๏ธ White Flag is an emoji in the Flags group, flag subgroup, first released in Emoji 0.7 (2014). Emoji 0.7 is the label Unicode gives to characters that became emoji with Unicode 7.0 in 2014, before emoji had version numbers of their own.
CLDR, the Unicode project that supplies emoji names in many languages, gives it the English keywords flag, waving and white; that is what emoji keyboards match when you search.
It is the character ๐ณ (U+1F3F3 WAVING WHITE FLAG) followed by the variation selector U+FE0F, which asks for the colourful emoji style. Without the selector, many systems show a plain text symbol instead.
