Save and move your list
Your list is kept only in this browser's local storage on this device. It is never sent to NerdBible or anyone else, and clearing your browser data deletes it, so export a copy if you want to keep it. Monthly figures for weekly plans use 52 weeks a year.
How to use it
- Add each subscription with its price, how often it is billed and the next renewal date. Bank and card statements, app store subscription pages and your email inbox are the best places to find them.
- Read the monthly and yearly totals, the breakdown by category and the list of what renews in the next 30 days.
- Look at the items flagged for review, cancel or downgrade what you no longer use, and export the list as a backup.
Questions
Where is my list saved?
Only in your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded. Another browser or device will not see it unless you export the JSON file and import it there.
How do I find subscriptions I have forgotten?
Search your email for words like receipt, renewal and subscription, check the subscriptions page in the Apple App Store or Google Play, and read three months of card statements for small repeating charges.
How are weekly and quarterly plans counted?
Everything is turned into a monthly and a yearly cost so plans can be compared: weekly costs are multiplied by 52 and divided by 12, quarterly costs are divided by 3, yearly costs by 12.
Why does the tool suggest reviewing some subscriptions?
It points out the most expensive ones, several in the same category and yearly plans renewing soon, because those are where people most often save money. Only you know which ones you still use.
