Merge PDF

Combine PDFs into one file.

Free tools that run in your browser. Nothing you type, open or create is uploaded to NerdBible or anyone else.

Add at least two PDFs to start.

Drag a file by its handle, or use the arrow buttons, to change the order. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and nothing is re-compressed. Bookmarks and form fields from the original files are not carried over.

    How to use it

    1. Choose or drop two or more PDF files.
    2. Put them in the order you want by dragging the handle or pressing the arrow buttons.
    3. Press Merge and download to save one combined file, merged.pdf.

    Questions

    Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?

No. The files are read and combined by your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to NerdBible or anyone else, and the page keeps working if you go offline after it loads.

Why does it say a file is password protected?

Encrypted PDFs cannot be combined without the password. Open the file in a PDF reader, enter the password and save or print a copy without protection, then add that copy here.

Is there a limit on the number or size of files?

There is no fixed limit, but everything happens in your browser memory. A few hundred pages is fine on most devices; very large scans may be slow on a phone.

    Will the quality change?

No. Each page is copied exactly as it is in the original file, including fonts and images, so the merged PDF looks the same.
