PDF to Images
Turn every page of a PDF into a PNG or JPG.
Free tools that run in your browser. Nothing you type, open or create is uploaded to NerdBible or anyone else.
Choose a PDF to start.
PNG keeps text and lines crisp; JPG makes much smaller files and suits scanned pages and photos. 150 DPI is plenty for reading on screen; 300 DPI is print quality, and each page then takes far more memory, so a long document is best done in parts on a phone.
How to use it
- Choose or drop a PDF.
- Pick PNG or JPG and a resolution, and optionally the pages you want, such as 1-3, 5.
- Press Convert pages, then download each image or all of them in one ZIP file.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The pages are drawn by pdf.js, a PDF reader that runs inside your browser, and the images are made on your device.
What does DPI mean here?
Dots per inch: how many pixels each inch of the page gets. An A4 or Letter page is about 1,240 pixels wide at 150 DPI and about 2,480 at 300 DPI.
Why do some fonts look different?
If a PDF uses a font it does not include, the reader substitutes a similar one, just as a desktop PDF reader would. Text in embedded fonts is drawn exactly.
Can I convert a password protected PDF?
Not directly. Open it in a PDF reader with the password, save a copy without protection, and convert that copy.
